Role Holder needs to: Line manage and mentor the Brand Guardian and ensure that the brand is adhered to within the Design Team Line manage and mentor junior designers and identify training for succession plans Design, produce and project-manage the production of bid documents, sales and prospecting collateral, key marketing publications including core brochures, campaign materials conference/exhibition materials and associated digital applications Work conceptually through creative layout and take ownership of high profile campaigns Work within the JLT Brand and Style Standards and to be constantly adding to the development and enhancement of these standards. Lead consultation with clients providing specialist creative advice to develop and implement design solutions for bid/marketing/sales support materials Liaise with suppliers regarding print and production of all the above. Assist in other design activities for JLT as required Behavioural Competencies Communicate at the highest level with with clients and key stakeholders Have confidence and ability to use own initiative and to be flexible and adaptable. Ability to listen but to also challenge ideas and provide alternative solutions Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Speed and accuracy Ability to line-manage and mentor junior designers Skills Design Solid creative design background with experience in a similar corporate setting or design agency. Degree or equivalent in graphic design or similar. At least 5 years lead creative experience. Production Expert knowledge and understanding of: all print production methods and the different pre-press processes needed to achieve best results. Specialist IT Skills (Apple Mac) Expert knowledge of: Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop). Knowledge of: Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Filemaker Pro. Desirable: Experience of digital design.
